Hi, I’m Elton Ndawana, from Zimbabwe. Before moving to Perth, I was working for a metal fabrication company, where I developed a strong interest in mechanical systems and hands-on engineering work. That experience inspired me to further my studies in a place where I could gain advanced technical skills and that’s what brought me to Australia.

My name is Nur Arisha Umaira and I’m an international student from Johor Bahru, Malaysia. I moved to Perth when I was just 18 years old, right after finishing high school. Coming to a new country all by myself was a huge step in my life but I knew it was the right one.

I'm Maureen Dardenne from France and before starting my courses at TAFE, I was travelling and working mainly in the horse industry (studs, equine veterinary clinic, horse therapy). This is where I discovered my passion for animal medicine and realised my desire to be involved in surgeries, medical care, and assisting veterinarians in their work.

I’m Janvi Shah from Kenya. Before moving to Perth, I finished my A-levels and then worked for a while at a wholesale warehouse and at an eye clinic. After that, I decided to take the next step to come to Perth for my studies.

Hi, my name is Shannen Ann Marie Legaspi and I am 20 years old from the province of Bulacan in the Philippines. When I was young, my parents worked abroad as Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and I grew up with my beloved grandmother who took care of us.

My name is Patrick Ramer Pastrana, but everyone calls me Patrick. I’m 24 years old. I’m an easy-going person, a bit stubborn (in a good way), and a dreamer. I was studying in my home country the Philippines, and I enjoyed spending time with my friends and family.

My name is Solongo and I'm from Mongolia. Before moving to Perth, I lived in Mongolia where I completed my university degree in Psychology. After graduating, I set a goal to continue my journey in Australia. I started preparing for my IELTS exam and, during that time, I worked as a sales manager at a construction sales company.
