My name is Nur Arisha Umaira and I’m an international student from Johor Bahru, Malaysia. I moved to Perth when I was just 18 years old, right after finishing high school. Coming to a new country all by myself was a huge step in my life but I knew it was the right one.

This is where I discovered my passion for animal medicine and realised my desire to be involved in surgeries, medical care, and assisting veterinarians in their work.

After graduating, I set a goal to continue my journey in Australia. I started preparing for my IELTS exam and, during that time, I worked as a sales manager at a construction sales company.
