I’m Janvi Shah from Kenya. Before moving to Perth, I finished my A-levels and then worked for a while at a wholesale warehouse and at an eye clinic. After that, I decided to take the next step to come to Perth for my studies.

Hi, my name is Shannen Ann Marie Legaspi and I am 20 years old from the province of Bulacan in the Philippines. When I was young, my parents worked abroad as Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and I grew up with my beloved grandmother who took care of us.

After graduating, I set a goal to continue my journey in Australia. I started preparing for my IELTS exam and, during that time, I worked as a sales manager at a construction sales company.

I’m Ayano Sasakido from Japan. Before coming to Perth, I worked as a web designer for three years in Osaka, Japan.

My name is Florence Gombe. Before moving to Perth, I was living in Zambia where I completed my secondary education. I’ve always had a strong interest in how machines work, especially in the automotive and energy sectors, which led me to pursue mechanical engineering.

My name is Lismar Alvear and I'm from Colombia. I moved to Perth in February 2023 to study English. Before coming here, I was living in Colombia and working as an engineer for an international company. I had always wanted to study abroad and gain experience in another country, and Perth seemed like the perfect place to do that.

My name is Reena Varsani, and I’m originally from Nairobi, Kenya. Before moving to Perth, I was living in London, UK, where I studied a foundation certificate in business, law, and social sciences. I’ve always been passionate about helping people, and I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to make a meaningful impact in the community.

The award winning Bentley Pines Training Restaurant at Bentley campus recently had a major upgrade. 

The renovated kitchen features modern viewing windows that let diners see TAFE students and lecturers in action. It also has state-of-the-art, large scale kitchen equipment and facilities.
