Turn your creative flair into a career in interior design. This course provides you with relevant skills and knowledge in a range of decoration and design services.
You will gain an understanding of the nature of environmental space and spatial ambience with the ability to manipulate the relationship of spaces, objects and products within the surrounding space.
During your studies you will develop and respond to client briefs, specify furniture, finishes and equipment, colours, lighting, hard and soft materials and fixtures.
You will work on simulated live projects with a wide variety of briefs from a range of industry disciplines. You’ll engage with industry through participation in site visits and industry competitions.
As a graduate, you will be well prepared to enter into the workforce as a design consultant, or you can continue onto the advanced diploma to develop the higher level skills required to work as an interior designer.

An IELTS score (academic) of 6.0 with no band score less than 5.0 or equivalent.

OR Completion of CUA30720 Certificate III in Design Fundamentals is required for entry into this course.
