TAFE International Western Australia is proud to announce that Louise Hill, a student from Ireland studying the MSS50222 Diploma of Environmental Monitoring & Technology, has been awarded WA International VET Student of the Year at the prestigious CISWA Awards 2025.

The awards, hosted by the Council for International Students of Western Australia (CISWA)(opens in a new tab), celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions of international students across the state. Louise’s recognition highlights her exceptional academic performance, leadership qualities, and commitment to environmental sustainability.

The WA International VET Student of the Year category, sponsored by the Department of Training and Workforce Development, honours vocational students who excel academically while actively engaging in their communities. The CISWA Awards, now in their eleventh year, recognise excellence across six categories, including School, VET, and Tertiary students, as well as education initiatives and individual contributions.
