Available schools

Available schools are approved by the Director General of Education to accept overseas students.

If your child has a student visa, you pick your preferred WA Government schools from our available schools list. 

You must nominate at least four schools.

When considering your school preferences please note:

• your residential address does not guarantee you a place at your local school;
• a school must be able to provide appropriate educational programs and sufficient classroom accommodation;
• the enrolment of overseas fee-paying students is at the discretion of the school principal;
• due to a high demand for places in Western Australian public schools your preferred schools may not be available – 
  TAFE International Western Australia reserves the right to offer students an alternative school if a preferred school is not available at the time of payment; and
• overseas fee-paying students are not eligible to enrol in Gifted and Talented Secondary Selective Entrance Programs.
